Never use tap water or saliva to clean the lenses or case. In case of eye redness, pain, discharge, or noticeable sensitivity to light, discontinue use and consult an optometrist immediately. It is recommended that you not sleep while wearing contact lenses. As much as possible, avoid wearing lenses in the shower, hot tub, swimming pool, or any body of water (lake, etc.).
For each new bottle of cleaning solution, use a new case and discard the old one. It is recommended to not use the same lens case for more than 3 months. A contact lens is considered a foreign body on the eye’s surface. Thus, it is recommended that you undergo an annual optometry exam in order to verify your eye health. For environmental purposes, throw your old lenses in the garbage (do not throw them in the toilet or sink).
